Tips for Keeping Your Vehicle Clean

How many people spend hours trying to keep our home neat and tidy, but what about the vehicle you drive you & your family around in daily. You don’t want to neglect your precious vehicle for too long or it will accumulate lots of junk and dirt over time if you let it go. There’s lots of easy little things we can do to help keep your vehicle just as neat & tidy as your home.

Whether you tote around kids & pets or it’s just you that can add to the cleanliness of your vehicle. One very easy tip is making sure everyone follows one simple rule. If you bring something into the car you must take it out with you when you leave. Doing this simple task will help reduce alot of unwanted clutter that can accumulate over time with everything from books, bags, food containers, etc. Also it’s a very good idea to keep a trash bag in the trunk of your car in case you ever have the need to put things in it rather than leaving inside your car.

Now if  having a meal in the car can’t be avoided than it’s always best to pull over, stop and park while eating. Not only is it alot safer for you and other drivers on the road but it can’t help you avoid lots of unwanted messes that can happen while the car is in motion. So wouldn’t it would be the easiest to just not allow food & drinks in your vehicle but that can’t always be the case. If you have small children just make sure you have the proper items for them such as spill proof cups for drinks, handy containers for finger foods and even pet treats in a sandwich baggy in case your furry friend gets a little hungry in your travels. Then don’t forget the handy wipes for any sticky fingers or spills if they do occur. A helpful tip you may not know about is if you do have a spill, etc you can use a white non-gel toothpaste for a quick response to stains like lipstick, ink and ketchup. Just gently rub the spot and then wipe with a clean damp cloth. Just throw this in your glove box for a handy quick fix!
